We will hold another club comeptition upon our return in September, last night's event was a great success. |

All please see the new club fees detailed on the Club Membership tab. These will apply from September.
The increases have been forced on us by increased hire charges for the hall.

Last weekend we sent a number of young fencers to compete in the Welsh qualification rounds of the British Youth Championships. at the WIS in Cardiff.
We came home with another 12 medals including THREE GOLD.
The younsters will now all go on to compete against others from all over Britain at the finals in Sheffield over the Mayday bank holiday weekend.
The club has now aquired 28 medals in this seasons Welsh competitions, more than any other club in Wales and more than we have ever done in Swansea before!
Congratulations to all those who enterd and did so well for the club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

All,
We are planning 2 full day events (Saturday) in August, subject to numbers.
The first will be a one day beginners course, taking complete beginners and teaching them the basics in one day.
The second, only open to those holding BFA membership and/or members of Celtic Sword Club will be for improvers and will assume a basic level of competance but will cater for mixed abilities and weapons.
Please register any interest with Steve or Gareth ASAP and we will confirm dates.

Celtic Sword do it again!
We took 11 youth fencers to Cardiff today to compete in the Welsh Youth Foil Championships 2010, and again came home with the medals!
The young fencers from the club, all did very well from the youngest of 9 to the "old hands" of 15!
We have put Celtic Sword club on the map again!
Thanks to all of you and to your parents for being drivers and carrying the bags!
